The World Health Day is a global health awareness day celebrated every year on 7 April, under the sponsorship of the World Health Organization (WHO), as well as other related organisations.
The World Health Organization (WHO) was founded on the principle that all people should be able to realize their right to the highest possible level of health. The Organization will maintain a high-profile focus on UHC (United Health Care) via a series of events through 2018, starting on World Health Day on 7 April with global and local conversations about ways to achieve health for all. Why global health coverage matters?
In this year 2018, WHO focuses on Global Health to increase awareness of current status on global health among people.
Disease spreading vectors like mosquitoes (malaria, dengue fever, filaria, chikungunya, yellow fever and etc), ticks, bugs, sand flies, snails and etc are also spotlighted by the WHO.
